Global warming increased our temperature on the earth by about 14OF since 1900. When scientists looked at the temperatures taken each year, the last 10 year period was the hottest of the past 150 years! When they looked at these temperatures, the hottest 22 years on record were during the years 1980 to the present. Global warming is real.
Finding the causes of Global warming is not simple, but what scientists agree is that it is largely due to the emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases released from man-made activities. This includes industrial emissions and the exhaust from burning fossil fuels in car engines and furnaces.
The effects of global warming are even harder to predict. What is known is that global warming can increase sea level and lead to more flooding and storm damage.
